Adorn your Face

Masquerade balls first originated in Europe celebrating festive events by royalty. Guests of the ball would wear allegorical costumes and masks, which brought a sense of both enchantment and curiosity.  Today, masquerade balls are another excuse to dress up, look amazing and wear a decorative mask.

Now lets take that mask concept into the 21st century and add a splash of elegance. Make-up artist Phyllis Cohen designed a line of stick on ready-to-wear eye design called Face Lace. Face Lace was first showcased in Corrie Nielsen's London catwalk and is now available for the public.  Face Lace is made of a thin vinyl with hypoallergenic adhesive backing and typically ranges from $15- $27 each decal. Now there’s a quick and easy option for you to adorn your face- besides wearing a mask or face painting.

October Item-Of-The-Month: Devoted & Obsessed

When I found the fabrics for this Item-Of-The-Month I was totally obsessed with them. I would stare at the sheer fluorescent pink for hours, and the solid black fabric is so soft I just wanted to pet it and hold it and squeeze it and love it! The way I felt about these fabrics reminded me of how Homer felt about beer and TV in the "Shining" episode of the Simpsons. This photo shoot was inspired by my obsession for the fabrics and Homer Simpson.

No Marshall and no Nash makes the girls go...crazy!
